     Sister TV managed the planet wide communications campaign for the global premier of ‘First Orbit’, a feature length film event that weaves historic audio recordings of the first Cosmonaut, Yuri Gagarin, with new footage of his orbital route. To coincide with the 50th anniversary of man’s first journey into space, the film premiered globally for free on YouTube at sunrise on 12 April 2011, screening simultaneously at over 1600 public screenings in more than 130 countries around the world; making it one of the most widely released independent films in history.

This unique viral premiere event for First Orbit attracted over two million viewings within its first 48 hours; making it the most watched long form film release in YouTube history.
